This facility has two buildings. The barrel building was built into the hillside to reduce its visual impact for the neighbors. The walls are concrete tilt-up that are supported by the metal building structure. Two of the walls, acting as retaining walls, are supported by the metal building structure. The roofs of both buildings are architectural standing seam panels over R30 insulation and decking. All panels are single, full-length pieces with some expanding 135 feet in length. The 200-foot square barrel building has just four interior columns that support a mezzanine under the cupola. |
