Metal buildings can even execute the designs of architectural visionaries The original winery building was an old barn on the property. It was replaced by a high-end, flexible-use building designed by William Turnbull. By constructing this building in two phases, impact on the productivity of the winery was minimized. The exterior walls are durable 1 X redwood with wood stud framing. The roof is composition shingle with metal decking and R19 insulation. The building is cut into the hillside for temperature control so retaining walls are supported by the metal building structure. |
